3 years as Mrs Mukherjee ..already ???

i sit here with a running nose but with a heart ebbing with love and memories...is it already 3 years that we have been married ?? cant be right!!

i remember you making tea with maida, thinking it was milk powder, when we ran out of milk the other day.

i remember you mixing your white shirt with my red duppatta and giving it for wash.

i remember you cribbing about the cold and insisting on a door mat inside your bathroom this January

i remember you preserving (flaunting) your 8 year old shoes from Germany, last week, expecting me to be impressed...

Wasnt it all just a few days back?? then how come we are celebrating three years of marriage.

I am sure you would be thinking on the same lines baby about your wife..

i remember the time i threw away many important papers thinking its junk

i remember the time i insisted on you taking a leave since i was home with blocked nasal passages

and oh the time when i tried making cinnamon rolls and they turn out "rocking " and you insisted its so soft and yummy.

Of course i will always remember how i pressed on the accelerator while parking our car, instead of the break !

three years just went by while we remained ourselves and enjoyed eachothers insanity. three years of learning each others likes, avoiding our dislikes, pretending to remain angry with eachother but feel miserable inside, of   cursing each others office times  and abusing people on the road...ye okay i take the credit for this one alone !

But i remember what Ma had told me 3 years back..you need to get mature, you should be responsible, learn to adjust, compromise with his family...but i havent done any of that baby..and still i claim, we are one of Gods most favorite couples !

By the way neither have you shown any such maturity, except maybe marrying me !

And today as we celebrate 3 years of being more than just what our name plate says "Sulagna & Suprabhat Mukherjee", i want to let you know, i could not have been any happier than what i am today. i love being your wife , cooking for  you, fussing over you, shouting at you, dreaming of our life together and thanking God every morning .

You have made me so complete that i cant ask for anything more..yes i pray for some babydust and the rest is beyond a dream.
