Dear "husband who cant take care of his clothes"

To Whomsoever It May Concern

its been a long while that my life has been revolving around keeping house, working ,cooking, watering plants, feeding the hungry goldfish and even hungrier owner and keeping away your clothes(i use a gentler and nicer word here instead of the actual items of clothing)

Ever since our marriage i have been making it clear shouting from the living room to the bedroom that clothes and other things need to be kept back from where taken..this applies on newspapers read and crumpled on the sofa, sugar bottles taken off from the shelves and kept somewhere, remote control on the dinning table, watch on the washbasin and of course the socks strewn across from the laundry basket to the dinning area. Of course i have stopped expecting you to wipe dry the kitchen platform or to fold your clothes since these are unattainable by you.

i have tried pleading, begging ,fighting,a grumpy face, doors shut and even no breakfast before office, but nothing has been working.

So,in a situation like this which calls for dire decisions to resolve a contingency, your socks, other items of clothing and your watches shall be confiscated and hidden till a time will come when you have no socks to wear to work..

Baby i know you will be reading this and laughing..but i am very serious this time.

yours loving and super-functional

Wife

You know the weird thing is it is always small things like these that lead to the major complication.
writing about on your blog wont help.
U have to confront him

Rishi said...

u shud take a print out and stick to the loo... he'd probably read it...

and rather then confiscating socks...how abt the remote button, the PC mouse and sugar from all food... that'll probably force him to change...

for extreme conditions, u can confiscate the contacts from his mobile and give it back to him... watch him squirm as messages arrive...

I am sure he must be smiling and bet he knows that you are serious this time (Aps will agree no more). I suggest hang the guy upside down with only his socks on and whack him till he gets it down his throat. Repeat the process every day. If it still doesnt work buy two surprise tickets for Radio!
